Trước nay có lẽ bạn đã khá quen thuộc và tin tưởng vào các phần mềm chống virus như Norton Antivirus, McAfee... Giờ đây bạn sẽ có thêm nhiều sự lựa chọn mới, và một trong số đó là Panda Titaninum 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware.
Thực ra cái tên Panda Antivirus không mới, tuy nhiên phiên bản 2006 là phiên bản mới nhất của phần mềm này. Nó được bổ sung thêm nhiều tính năng mới giúp bảo vệ bạn luôn “an toàn trên xa lộ”, tránh khỏi những hiểm họa tiềm ẩn từ Internet như virus, spyware, lừa đảo trực tuyến...
Bạn có thể tìm mua Panda Titaninum 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware tại các cửa hàng bán đĩa CD tin học hoặc tham khảo thêm thông tin từ địa chỉ: www.pandasoftware.com.
Trước khi cài Panda Titaninum 2006 vào máy, bạn cần gỡ bỏ hết các chương trình chống virus tương tự, ví dụ như Norton Antivirus, ZoneAlarm... để tránh bị đụng độ phần mềm. Sau đó cài đặt như bình thường. Cài xong, bạn cần khởi động lại máy tính.
Xác lập các thông số:
Biểu tượng của Panda Titaninum 2006 là chú gấu trúc được cài vào khay hệ thống. Bạn nhấn chuột phải vào biểu tượng này, chọn Open Panda Titaninum 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware để mở cửa sổ chính của chương trình.
Màn hình đầu tiên (Titaninum Status) sẽ cho bạn biết các trạng thái của chương trình, ví dụ như các chức năng phụ đã bật lên chưa, bạn cập nhật cơ sở dữ liệu chống virus vào lần cuối là ngày nào... Ngoài ra, thanh trạng thái sẽ chỉ ra cho bạn biết một trong ba trạng thái an toàn của hệ thống:
- High: máy tính của bạn đã được bảo vệ an toàn gần như tuyệt đối và bạn không cần lo lắng gì cả.
- Medium: chỉ ra rằng Titanium chưa bảo vệ bạn hoàn toàn, bạn cần thực hiện các thao tác xác lập để nó bảo vệ bạn tốt hơn.
- Low: độ an toàn của máy tính bạn là rất thấp, bạn cần xác lập các thông số bảo vệ, cập nhật cơ sở dữ liệu chống virus...
Để xác lập thông số cho Titaninum, bạn nhấn chọn Settings ở khung bên trái. Kế đến chọn Automatic protection settings ở khung bên phải. Chọn Antivirus Protection > đánh dấu chọn Enable antivirus protection trong cửa sổ Antivirus protection settings (chức năng này sẽ cho phép chương trình quét virus ở chế độ nền, giúp bạn luôn được bảo vệ khi sử dụng máy). Trong phần Advanced settings, bạn lần lượt nhấp chuột vào các mục Files to scan, Configure detection of spyware, Configure protection against fraud, Configure detection of potentially dangerous files... và đánh dấu chọn tất cả các mục trong đó, sau đó nhấn OK để tăng thêm tính bảo mật cho chương trình. Nhấn OK để ra cửa sổ Automatic protection settings. Lần lượt nhấp chuột vào các mục còn lại trong cửa sổ này, đánh dấu chọn tất cả các mục chọn, nhấn OK. Nhấn Back để ra cửa sổ xác lập chính.
Nhấn vào mục Full scan settings để xác lập thông số quét toàn bộ hệ thống. Sau đó đánh dấu chọn tất cả các mục như Viruses, Dialers, Spyware, Jokes, Hacking tools để cho phép chương trình quét tất cả chúng. Tại mục Advanced, bạn nhấn vào Heuristic scan settings và đánh dấu chọn Enable heuristic scan, nhấn OK. Chức năng Heuristic scan cho phép chương trình nhận diện các loại virus chưa được biết đến (unknown virus) dựa trên những hành tung đáng ngờ của chúng, nhờ đó mà máy tính của bạn luôn được “miễn dịch” trước các loại virus hiện tại và tiềm ẩn.
Cập nhật cơ sở dữ liệu chống virus:
Để máy tính của bạn được bảo vệ an toàn tuyệt đối, bạn nên thường xuyên cập nhật cơ sở dữ liệu chống virus cho chương trình. Muốn thực hiện việc này, trong cửa sổ Titaninum 2006, bạn chọn mục Update ở khung bên trái. Sau đó nhấn chuột vào mục Update Titaninum 2006, now! (lưu ý, khi thực hiện việc này bạn phải đang kết nối Internet).
Tìm và diệt virus:
Để quét virus cho hệ thống, trong cửa sổ chính của chương trình, bạn chọn mục Scan ở khung bên trái. Sau đó bạn có thể chọn một trong các kiểu quét virus sau, tùy theo nhu cầu của mình:
- Scan all My computer: Quét toàn bộ hệ thống, bao gồm bộ nhớ máy tính, tất cả các ổ tháo lắp (ổ mềm, flash drive...), ổ cứng, CD-ROM, Outlook...
- Scan all hard disk: Quét tất cả ổ cứng trên máy.
- Scan all e-mail: Quét tất cả các e-mail gửi/nhận trong phần mềm Outlook Express và MS Outlook.
- Scan other items: Quét một mục bất kỳ, ví dụ như ổ cứng, e-mail, thư mục, tập tin...
Sau khi nhấp chọn một kiểu quét thích hợp, trình quét virus sẽ bắt đầu hoạt động. Bạn có thể theo dõi tiến trình thực hiện ở khung bên dưới cửa sổ. Bất cứ khi nào muốn tạm ngừng quét virus, bạn nhấn nút Pause. Để ngừng hẳn, bạn nhấn nút Cancel.
Bảng kết quả xuất hiện cho bạn biết toàn bộ các thông tin mà chương trình đã quét, phát hiện được virus (nếu có). Bạn nhấn nút Back để quay về cửa sổ quét virus (Searching for threats). Tại nhóm Scan report, bạn có thể nhấn vào mục View statistic để xem thống kê các lần quét virus. Chương trình sẽ thống kê các loại virus, spyware, phising... mà nó tìm thấy trên máy tính của bạn dưới dạng biểu đồ để bạn dễ theo dõi.
Tạo đĩa cứu hộ (Rescue Disk):
Đĩa cứu hộ sẽ giúp bạn quét virus trong một môi trường “sạch sẽ”, bạn sẽ thực sự cần đến nó trong trường hợp máy tính bị nhiễm virus boot. Trong cửa sổ chính, chọn mục Services ở khung bên trái. Kế đến chọn Rescue Disks và lần lượt làm theo các hướng dẫn trên màn hình để tạo một đĩa cứu hộ. Bạn có thể tạo đĩa cứu hộ từ đĩa mềm hoặc đĩa CD/DVD.
Bạn có một chiếc USB? Cho dù bạn chỉ thỉnh thoảng sử dụng nó để sao chép tài liệu giữa các máy thì chắc rằng không dưới một lần chiếc USB của bạn đã nhiễm phải virus.
Có lẽ cũng không phải nói nhiều về những phiền toái mà bạn gặp với với những con virus đáng ghét này. Tuy nhiên bạn hoàn toàn có thể hạn chế những vị khách không mời này xâm nhập vào chiếc USB của bạn.
Virus lây qua USB đã trở nên quá phổ biến hiện nay tại Việt Nam, nhất là khi chiếc ổ di động USB đã trở thành vật bất ly thân của đại đa số học sinh, sinh viên, nhân viên văn phòng.. Những con virus này tự động xâm nhập khi bạn cắm USB của bạn vào một máy tính đã bị nhiễm virus.
Và mỗi khi bạn USB này được đưa vào một máy tính khác, virus lợi dung thói quen sơ hở của bạn mỗi khi click đúp vào biểu tượng ổ đĩa USB trong My Computer để xâm nhập. Tại đây chúng tiếp tục nhân bản và phát tán chính mình bằng nhiều đường. Và đương nhiên nạn nhân tiếp theo sẽ là những chiếc USB khác cắm vào máy.
Tại sao virus có thể lây nhiễm qua USB? Là bởi vì virus sao chép chính nó lên USB, và tạo một file Autorun.inf để kích hoạt tính năng Autoplay của ổ đĩa. Mỗi khi bạn click vào để mở USB thì bạn sẽ vô tình chạy chính con virus này. Thêm nữa, chúng khôn khéo đặt thuộc tính ẩn cho chính mình để tránh bị phát hiện.
Làm thế nào để có thể phát hiện ra được USB có virus hay không? Nếu như bình thường bạn mở USB bằng cách click chuột trái vào biểu tượng USB ở My Computer thì hãy thay đổi thói quen đó. Hãy thử click chuột phải vào biểu tượng ổ USB, nếu như bạn thấy có dòng Autoplay được tô đậm ở vị trí trên cùng, có nghĩa là 90% USB đó đã bị nhiễm virus. Bởi vì bình thường thì dòng chữ tô đậm ấy phải là Open hoặc Explorer thay vì Autoplay.
Điều này còn có thể áp dụng với các ổ đĩa cứng, một vài con virus sau khi lây vào máy còn lây vào Autoplay của các ổ cứng. Quá trình lây vào ổ cứng khiến cho virus vẫn có thể được kích hoạt mà không cần phải sao chép vào Start Up, một nơi vẫn thường xuyên được kiểm tra. Tuy nhiên, các virus USB thường tự đặt nó trong trạng thái ẩn, chính vì vậy tốt nhất bạn nên thường xuyên đặt chế độ xem các file ẩn bằng cách vào My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options.. -> View -> Chọn Show hidden files and folders và bỏ Hide protected system files.
Tự bảo vệ mình như thế chưa đủ. Tốt nhất hãy bảo vệ USB của mình khỏi bị nhiễm virus. Bạn hoàn toàn có thể tự làm được ngay cả khi bạn không phải là một người am hiểu về máy tính.
Thật vậy, nếu như virus lây vào USB của bạn và tìm cách lừa bạn chạy nó qua tính năng Autoplay của USB thì tại sao bạn lại không thử lừa lại nó. Để ý rằng virus USB nào cũng tạo file autorun.inf, vậy thì bạn hãy tạo sẵn file autorun.inf trong USB của mình. Chắc chắn rằng chỉ với bước này bạn đã “qua mặt” được kha khá virus USB rồi.
Nhưng xem ra như thế vẫn chưa đủ, bạn cần phải cấm các con virus thông minh hơn ghi đè file này. Điều này bạn cũng hoàn toàn có thể làm được dễ dàng với USB nếu như bạn chuyển hệ thống file của USB sang NTFS và đặt quyền cấm ghi đè cho file autorun.inf.
Tất nhiên việc chuyển hệ thống files sang NTFS thì USB của bạn sẽ không thể dùng được trên Windows 98/ME, nhưng chắc rằng Windows 98/ME thì cũng không tự động nhận được USB của bạn, hơn nữa Windows 98/ME hiện nay cũng hơi hiếm thấy.
Khi bạn đã sẵn sàng, hãy bắt đầu bảo vệ USB của bạn qua những thao tác đơn giản với Windows XP qua 5 bước sau:
Bước 1: Xác định tên ổ đĩa USB của bạn là gì bằng cách click vào My Computer và xác định ổ USB. Ví dụ như USB của bạn là ổ E: và nhãn là STORAGE
Bước 2: Chuyển đổi hệ thống files sang NTFS bằng cách Click vào Start -> Run, sau đó gõ convert : /FS:NTFS. Ví dụ bạn sẽ phải gõ convert E: /FS:NTFS. Lưu ý, nếu ổ USB của bạn có chức năng ghi âm và nghe nhạc MP3 thì nên bỏ qua bước này. Nếu không, có thể phần mềm chơi nhạc của bạn sẽ không thể chạy các file MP3 được.
Bước 3: Tạo một file autorun.inf với nội dung bất kì, thậm chí để trống cũng được và copy vào thư mục gốc của ổ đĩa USB của bạn.
Bước 4: Click chuột phải vào file autorun.inf bạn vừa tạo và chọn thuộc tính cho file này là read-only, bạn cũng có thể chọn thêm hidden.
Bước 5: Cấm mọi quyền truy xuất vào file autorun.inf bạn vừa tạo bằng cách Click vào Start -> Run, sau đó gõ cacls \autorun.inf /D Everyone. Ví dụ như bạn sẽ gõ cacls E:\autorun.inf /D Everyone
Tất nhiên là không thể nói là an toàn với tất cả các loại virus USB, nhưng phương pháp này cũng phần nào giúp cho USB của bạn an toàn trước đại đa số chuyên lây qua USB hiện nay. Và hơn hết, hãy cài lên máy của mình một chương trình diệt virus đáng tin cậy, đặc biệt nên có tính năng tự động cập nhật thường xuyên. Chúc các bạn thành công.

Virus New Folder còn có tên khác là W32.DakNongB.Worm. Bạn bắt gặp nó khi mở USB lên, vào 1 Folder thì xuất hiện thêm 1 Folder chứa trong đó cùng tên và có đuôi EXE kèm dung lượng khoảng 56 KB. Có thể bạn sẽ bị mất menu Folder Option ở menu Tool (vào My Computer --> Tool để test lại ^^)
Cách diệt :
- Vào www.bkav.com.vn down bản mới nhất về để diệt nó. Sau khi quét toàn bộ USB thì mục Folder Option sẽ chưa hiện lên
- Vào Start --> Run --> gõ gpedit.msc
- Vào phần User Configuration --> Administrative Templates --> Windows Components --> Windows Explorer
- Ở cửa sổ bên phải, dòng Removes the Folder Options menu item from the Tools menu, bạn mở chức năng nó lên chọn Disabled, sau đó chọn OK và thoát khỏi chương trình

Protection from viruses:
* Email protection. The program scans email traffic for viruses according to the protocol via which it is sent (POP3, IMAP and NNTP for incoming mail and SMTP for outgoing mail) on any mail program. We also offer plug-ins and treatment for viruses in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express mail databases.
* Scanning of Internet traffic. All HTTP Internet traffic is scanned for viruses in real-time, ensuring that infected objects are not saved to the computer’s hard disk. Statistics about harmful scripts can be accessed using a plug-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer.
* File system protection. Individual files, catalogues and disks can be designated for antivirus scanning. Users can limit antivirus scanning to critical areas of the operating system and startup objects to ensure that attention is focused on the most vulnerable areas of the system.

* Preliminary analysis of messages. To economize time and network traffic, the Mail Manager conducts preliminary analyses of message headings in all incoming email before downloading them from the mail server. This also reduces the risk of spam and viruses being downloaded to your computer.

4. Scanning of VBA macros: monitoring of APIFUNCTION macro execution is disabled.
