Khi bạn nhận được thông báo lỗi "ESET Personal firewall initialization failed" từ ESET Smart Security 3.0. Thì có lẽ đó là nguyên nhân của việc cài đặt không đúng cách. Để khắc phục lỗi này, các bạn làm theo các bước sau:

Bước 1: Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility về cài đặt tại link dưới đây:

Bước 3: Quá trình Un-install

Quá trình uninstall diễn ra khi quá trình cài đặt của bạn bị lỗi hoặc xuất hiện các phiên bản nâng cấp mới. Lúc này, việc remove để cài đặt lại là một việc làm cần thiết đối với bạn. Được thực hiện dưới các bước sau:

- Click Start → Programs → ESET → Uninstall. Sau khi Uninstall bạn cần reboot lại máy tính.

- Sau khi reboot. Bạn vào Start → My Computer, vào C:\Program Files và xóa luôn thư mục ESET.

Các bạn tiếp tục Un-install ESET Personal Firewall Service tại Local Area Connections. Tùy theo bạn dùng hệ điều hành nào mà chọn Un-install ở hệ điều hành ấy.

Windows XP:

1. Bấm Start → Control Panel → Network connections. Chuột phải Local Area Connection và chọn Properties.
2. Chọn Eset Personal Firewall và bấm Uninstall.
3. Khởi động lại máy tính

Windows Vista:

1. Bấm Start → Control Panel. Tại khu vực Network and Internet, bấm View network status and tasks.
2. Bấm View status ở phía bên phải của Local Area Connection. Bấm Properties.
3. Chọn Eset Personal Firewall và bấm Uninstall.
4. Khởi động lại máy tính

Bước 4: Quá trình Re-install

Sau quá trình Un-install và khởi động lại máy tính, các bạn tiếp tục thực hiện quá trình Re-install. Quá trình Re-install được Trùm Cuối hướng dẫn đầy đủ 11 bước kèm hình ảnh tại file Word. Các bạn có thể download về xem tại File Gửi Kèm.

Lợi dụng kẽ hở của Yahoo! Messenger, một số hacker đã tạo ra các website có gắn mã khai thác và dụ nạn nhân truy cập vào đó. Hậu quả là máy tính có thể bị nhiễm mã độc hại, bị điều khiển từ xa...

Theo tin từ Trung tâm An ninh mạng BKIS, một đoạn mã tấn công mới nhất nhắm đến người dùng dịch vụ chat phổ biến trên thế giới, Yahoo! Messenger.

Trung tâm An ninh mạng BKIS đã thử nghiệm và xác minh mức độ nguy hiểm. Kết quả cho thấy, thành phần bị lỗi của Yahoo! Messenger là FT60.dll, thành phần luôn đi kèm các phiên bản cài đặt của Yahoo! Messenger, cung cấp các tính năng chia sẻ tập tin.

FT60.dll bao gồm các hàm API cho phép truyền file dữ liệu từ máy tính ra ngoài Internet và tải dữ liệu trên Internet xuống máy người dùng mà không có cơ chế xác thực cũng như không cần tương tác nào của người dùng.

Kẻ tấn công lợi dụng kẽ hở này để tạo ra các website có gắn mã khai thác và dụ nạn nhân truy cập vào đó. Hậu quả là máy tính có thể bị nhiễm mã độc hại, bị điều khiển từ xa, hoặc có thể các thông tin như mật khẩu, tài khoản ngân hàng và các dữ liệu quan trọng sẽ bị gửi đến máy chủ của hacker đợi sẵn.

Vì vậy, BKIS khuyến cáo người sử dụng máy tính: Để đề phòng bị tấn công, không nên vào những đường link dẫn tới các website lạ, không mở những email chưa rõ nguồn gốc để tránh nguy cơ bị tấn công từ kẻ xấu

Mở giao diện chính của ESET ---> Nhấn F5 ---> Vào Setup ---> Click vào nút Default ---> Chọn 'Revert all settings to defaults' ---> Click nút Yes ---> Click nút OK ---> Test lại để chắc rằng vấn đề đã được khắc phục.

Khôi phục thuộc tính ẩn cho file với unHide Folder XP Tool

Tiện ích này không thể thiếu cho máy tính của bạn với giao diện cực kì đơn giản và dễ sử dụng. Trong những trường hợp máy tính bị virus tấn công, làm ẩn các tập tin và thư mục quan trọng của bạn, công cụ này sẽ giúp bạn hiện những tập tin & thư mục đó lên, bao gồm cả những thư mục con bên trong thư mục đó CHỈ BẰNG 1 CÚ CLICK CHUỘT.

Chọn thư mục:
Bạn click vào nút Chọn thư mục để chọn thư mục cần quét.
Nhớ rằng đĩa mềm ở chế độ Read-Only (khóa ở vỏ đĩa mềm), đĩa CD, DVD, các thiết bị lưu trữ bị khóa ở dạng Read-Only, và một số thư mục hệ thống, các tập tin đang được các ứng dụng khác sử dụng bạn không thể làm việc với chúng được.

Các tùy chọn:
Quét hết thư mục này: Tùy chọn này cho phép bạn quét hết thư mục con trong thư mục chính. Ví dụ: thư mục chính là C:, với tùy chọn này bạn sẽ quét tất cả thư mục trong ổ C: (windows, system32, program files,... ).

Tác động lên Thư mục: Nếu được chọn, quá trình quét sẽ áp dụng các thuộc tính (hệ thống, ẩn, hoặc chỉ đọc nếu được chọn) lên thư mục được quét.

Tác động lên Tập tin: Tương tự Tác động lên Thư mục, nhưng áp dụng lên tập tin được quét.

Bỏ tính hệ thống (system), Bỏ tính ẩn (hidden), Bỏ tính chỉ đọc (read-only): Bỏ các thuộc tính trên thư mục và tập tin được quét.

Chỉ ghi lỗi: Chỉ hiển thị lỗi (ghi lỗi vào tập tin báo cáo quá trình quét) nếu quá trình áp dụng thuộc tính phát sinh lỗi.

Lưu log vào File (log***.diz): Lưu báo cáo quá trình quét vào tập tin dạng log***.diz để bạn có thể xem lại những lỗi phát sinh và có hướng giải quyết.

Thông tin khác:
Các tập tin bị ẩn dạng bình thường có thuộc tính là hidden, đôi khi có thêm read-only. Thông thường dạng ẩn này là do cố ý của người dùng.

Còn dạng ẩn kĩ hơn thì có thêm thuộc tính system, với dạng này bạn sẽ không thể thấy được nếu chỉ chọn Do not show hidden files and folder trong tùy chọn của Windows. Nếu không muốn dùng công cụ này để hiển thị tập tin ẩn, bạn có thể bỏ chọn thêm High protected operating system files (Recommended) cũng trong Folder Options. Nhưng như vậy đôi khi thật bất tiện. Nếu một tập tin nào đó có cả 3 thuộc tính trên, bạn sẽ không thể chỉnh sửa tập tin này nếu không bỏ thuộc tính của nó.

Tiện ích này đã được chạy thử trên hệ điều hành Windows XP. Với các hệ điều hành cũ hơn (Windows 9x,... ) hoặc mới hơn (Windows Vista), tôi không dám chắc là tiện ích này dùng được.
Tiện ích này cũng vô dụng đối với các hệ điều hành không phải Windows. Lí do loại tập tin (HTLM Application - .hta) này chỉ hoạt động trên Windows.

Sau khi download về & nhập đúng Password để unRAR, các huynh đệ click vào file unhide.hta để mở giao diện chính của chương trình lên để sử dụng.
