Cấu hình tối thiệu để chạy GigaGet:
- Hệ điều hành Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003.
- Bộ nhớ RAM 64MB.
- Dung lượng ổ đĩa cài đặt còn trống 100MB.

Trong quá trình cài đặt Gigaget, bạn nên đóng tất cả trình duyệt Web đang chạy.

Sử dụng công nghệ “bí truyền” Net Grid giúp tăng tốc độ tải file từ 7 đến 10 lần, nhưng Gigaget không đơn thuần chỉ có thế. Tuy nhiên, do cách cấu hình và sử dụng Gigaget cũng “từa tựa” những cao thủ khác như FlashGet, Free Download Manager hay WellGet, nên trong khuôn khổ bài viết, tôi chỉ xin giới thiệu qua một số đặc điểm nhận dạng Gigaget.
